4.12 Submission of the Same Work to More than One Course

Students who wish to submit the same or similar work to more than one course must receive prior written permission from both or all of the course directors involved. Instructors expect that each assignment submitted is completed specifically for that course. Therefore, failure to obtain prior written permission may be considered deceptive, and students who fail to do so may be required to withdraw from the MD program at Harvard Medical School (HMS). If permission is granted by the course director(s) written approval must be submitted to the HMS Registrar prior to the submission of the assignment(s).
